KSA Events, the nation’s premier host of High School sporting events, is proud to host the KSA Events Classic and KSA Events Holiday Basketball Tournament in Orlando, Florida. The KSA Events Las Vegas Shootout at the Venetian Resort and the KSA Events Caribbean Challenge Tournament at El Conquistador Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico. As with all KSA Events competitions, participating teams come nationwide from Alaska to Florida and from Massachusetts to California, providing a true national competition format that brings together teams who would otherwise never meet on the court. Dan Ricci, Head Girls Basketball Coach – Ossining High School – Ossining, NY “We have traveled with KSA over a dozen times. I can honestly say that there are hands down the best organization to travel with. As the Head coach at Ossining for 25 years we have had the opportunity to travel to many places but are best memories are the KSA trips to Orlando and the Bahamas. I honestly feel that the camaraderie we have gained through these trips has played a major role in our success over the years.” Wes Spence, Head Girls Basketball Coach – Parkland High School – Parkland, PA “The KSA Winter Classic allowed us to provide the girls in our program with an unparalleled team bonding experience. The trip offered relationship-building opportunities through Disney and quality, high-level competition. KSA does a tremendous job of organizing the trip and taking care of all the details so that you can focus on your team.”
KSA Events sporting events are also unique because they are competed at the finest professional and amateur athletic venues in the country, located in great destination cities that allow teams to experience the thrill and bonding of team travel that is a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for student-athletes. Although KSA Events bring together some of the most elite teams in the country, KSA accepts teams of all skill levels, giving equal opportunity to all student-athletes. In competition, great effort is taken to seed teams into a bracket that will provide an appropriate level of competition that is both fair and challenging to all.
As exciting as KSA Events competition can be, KSA Events was founded as a non-profit with the assistance of Coaches and Athletic Directors to promote the educational aspects of athletic participation. Therefore, the following key learning points are promoted through KSA Events participation:
In total, KSA Events truly offer an opportunity for your players to grow as individuals. So whether you are looking to reward your program for years of hard work or bring excitement to a rebuilding program, KSA Events competition offers a unique educational opportunity to student-athletes. Angela Torraville, Head Girls Basketball Coach Gonzaga High School – St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada “KSA staff is fabulous! From the greeting at the airport to arranging a bus to take the team shopping, they were always willing to go the extra mile. My team is always bringing up memories from the trip saying how much fun they had on and off the court. Highly recommended…” Marty Pelosi, Head Girls Basketball Coach – Westover High School – Middlebury, CT “The KSA Holiday tournament helped bond our players as a team and teach them to push their athletic boundaries. The tournament was well organized and the girls felt like they were in a college or professional setting. The entire week served as a great beginning to our season.”
The KSA Events Basketball Tournaments includes dozens of teams in total, but all teams are divided into competition brackets of 8 teams. This format serves two functions:
As in all KSA Events, Junior Varsity competition is typically available to all teams interested. This allows your entire program to experience the team bonding aspects of KSA Event participation without concern that your younger players will miss out on game experience. JV game quantities vary with participating team interest. Disney’s basketball Spring Training provides a unique opportunity to allow teams to practice, schedule scrimmages and schedule official games.
KSA Events Basketball Tournaments are officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Therefore, all participating teams must be members in good standing of their State High School Athletic Association. KSA Events holds a separate tournament, if necessary, for any private, parochial or other schools not members of a NFHS member association. This allows all schools, no matter their affiliation, to meet appropriate sanctioning requirements. Katy Palacios, Head Girls Basketball Coach – Pleasanton High School – Pleasanton, TX “We as a whole, had a great time and a wonderful experience! KSA went above and beyond working with me as the coach as well as our parents, making sure that we had the best experience. It was such a great opportunity, that we would love to make it a new tradition for our girls.”
KSA Events Basketball Tournaments in Orlando are competed at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, the premier amateur athletic facility in the world. An exciting venue, we can utilize up to 12 adjacent courts for a tremendous competition atmosphere. Click here to download Venue Map

The primary mission of KSA Events is to promote the educational aspects of athletic participation, including team-work, sportsmanship, work-ethic, and responsibility, to name a few. Furthermore, our goal is to foster an environment where classroom learning is valued and rewarded just as much as athletic achievement on the basketball court, creating a truly balanced education. To accomplish this goal, KSA awards two separate scholarships as described below. All scholarships are awarded in accordance with the eligibility regulations of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and appropriate State Athletic Associations. A KSA Events Book Scholarship is awarded to every team that participates in a KSA Events Boys basketball Tournament, setting an attainable goal for all participating student-athletes. This scholarship (a one-time award of $250) is to defer the cost of secondary education in support of KSA’s mission to promote education. Each team’s winner of the KSA Events Book Scholarship is selected by the school Principal and/or Athletic Director and/or Coach based on the following criterion: The award is to be granted to the best all-around student-athlete on the team that participated in the KSA Event. This definition is to include accomplishment and leadership not only on the court, but also in the classroom and community. It is the specific intent of KSA not to simply reward the athlete with the greatest physical ability. It is rather intended to reward the example set by those students who excel on the court and who take the lessons of athletics into the world to benefit themselves and others. Jim Piggot, Head Girls Basketball Coach – Ponte Vedra High School – Ponte Vedra, FL “The Ponte Vedra Girls Varsity basketball team has participated in the KSA Holiday basketball tournament the past 4 years. By far, this tournament has the best competition, officiating, and is the best run tournament that we have ever participated in, including AAU tournaments. However, the most important part of this trip is the team bonding and togetherness forged by the team over these 4 days. We travel to the tournament as 10 players and 3 coaches, but leave the tournament as 1 team!”
KSA Events is proud to offer our Tag-Along Fan program, which allows the family and friends of participating athletes to travel with the team. This means that you will contact us directly to sign up, make payments, and receive information, freeing your coach to concentrate on the team and the season, not your travel arrangements.
