Our Program

As with all KSA Events competitions, participating teams come nationwide from Alaska to Florida and from Massachusetts to California, providing a true national competition format that brings together teams who would otherwise never meet on the court.

Competition Format

KSA Events Basketball Tournaments include hundreds of teams in total. All teams are divided into competition brackets of 8 teams. This format serves two functions.

  1. Teams are divided into competitive groupings, so whether you are on the high end of the competitive level or rebuilding, you will be seeded into a bracket that is both challenging and competitive for your players.
  2. The 8 team bracket provides a three game guarantee no matter where you finish in the tournament. This allows all participating teams to plan their remaining schedule appropriately.

Junior Varsity

In all events, Junior Varsity competition is typically available to all teams interested. This allows your entire program to experience the team bonding aspects of our events without the concern that younger players will miss out on game experience. JV game quantities vary with participating team interest.

Sanctioning

All KSA Events are officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Therefore, all participating team members must be in good standing of their State High School Athletic Association.

KSA holds a seperate tournament, if necessary, for any private, parochial or other schools that are not members of a NFHS member association. This allows all schools to meet appropriate sanctioning requirements regardless of their affiliation.

Basketball Venue

KSA Events Basketball Tournaments in Orlando are competed at the Orange County Convention Center, one of the premier athlectic venues in the Nation. This venue allows for 24 adjacent courts for a tremendous competition atmosphere.
