Our Program
As with all KSA Events experiences, participating teams come nationwide from Alaska to Florida and from Massachusetts to California, providing a true national competition format that brings together teams who would otherwise never meet.
Competition Format
The KSA Events Cross Country Events are held over a series of weekends in the fall. Teams are entered into local Florida meets where they will have a chance to compete against teams from across the country as well as local Florida schools.
- Teams are divided into competitive groupings, so whether your athletes are on the high end of the competitive level or rebuilding, your team will compete against teams that are equally challenging and competitive to your players.
- This allows us to accept many teams and accommodate each different state's guidelines.
Junior Varsity
In all events, Junior Varsity competition is typically available to all teams interested. This allows your entire program to experience the team bonding aspects of our events without the concern that younger players will miss out on game experience. JV game quantities vary with participating team interest.
Sanctioning
All KSA Events are officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Therefore, all participating team members must be in good standing of their State High School Athletic Association.
KSA holds a seperate tournament, if necessary, for any private, parochial or other schools that are not members of a NFHS member association. This allows all schools to meet appropriate sanctioning requirements regardless of their affiliation.
Cross Country Venue
The KSA Events Cross Country Event take place at multiple local Florida high schools in the greater Orlando area. In most cases teams will have the opportunity to do a course walk through at these venues the afternoon/evening before their race day as part of their scheduled itinerary.
