KSA Events Wrestling Tournaments include dozens of teams in total. The teams are divided into competitive groupings, so each team is seeded into a bracket that is both challenging and competitive to your wrestlers.
The competition is in a dual meet format, with the entire team progressing as a unit. Round 1 consists of a round-robin pool format. Based on the results from each pool, teams are seeded into a traditional bracket for round 2. This will determine overall team placements.
No matter where your team finishes, every team is guaranteed a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 total dual meeets over the course of the tournament. This provides plety of mat time and allows all participating teams to plan their remaining schedule appropriately.
All KSA Events are officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Therefore, all participating team members must be in good standing of their State High School Athletic Association.
KSA holds a seperate tournament, if necessary, for any private, parochial or other schools that are not members of a NFHS member association. This allows all schools to meet appropriate sanctioning requirements regardless of their affiliation.
